The board, staff and selected members across different categories of the club have been engaged in workshops with Golf NZ staff and myself to initiate work on a draft five year strategy for the Harewood Golf Club.
The board has now agreed to the attached draft plan.
The board now seeks to gain ALL members’ feedback on the work to date and asks that you get involved in the following steps. Once the board receives and processes the input the 5 year strategy will be confirmed to all members.
There are two questions we would like to get your feedback on:
- Is there a part of the plan you disagree with?
- What do you think is missing from the plan?
To make it easy as possible for you, we have decided on two ways you can provide feedback.
Options 1: You can provide feedback to manager@harewoodgolf.co.nz by 5:00pm on Friday 9th December.
Options 2: If you are happy with the plan, we can save you time. If we haven’t received your feedback by 5:00pm on Friday 9th December, we will assume you are comfortable with the plan in its current form. The board will include your support for the plan and their thinking.
Once all the feedback has been received, we will make any changes based on this feedback and a final plan will be shared with all members.
What’s Next?
The next step is to then identify the club’s current state. This also relies on members feedback, but in a workshop format.
On a date to be determined we will invite members to participate in a workshop to discuss the current state of the Harewood Golf Club. This will identify the gap from where we are now to where we want to be, based on the agreed 5 year strategy.
